The first year of the course begins with a short introductory period covering the fundamentals of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The course then moves on to develop the theoretical and practical skills relevant to these fields of engineering. The second year of the course expands the main subject areas with further mathematics, further electrical principles and PLC's ( Programmable Logic Controllers). Two further specialist units are also studied in Year Two- Analogue and Digital Electronics or Three Phase Syslems and Electrical Application. |
